The Club ‘Excellence in Management’ recommends in its knowledge bank ‘The integral cycle of continuous improvement of 2nd PEUCA’
This proposal, led by the 2nd Strategic Plan of the University of Cádiz, won the II Award for Good Practices in the field of Excellence in Management in Universities 2018

The Excellence in Management Club recommends in its Knowledge Bank “The Integral Cycle of Continuous Improvement in the II Strategic Plan of the University of Cádiz”. A work that was the winner of the II edition of the Award for Good Practices in the field of Excellence in Management in Universities 2018.

In the “Ágora CEG”, a virtual platform, good practices are shared to serve as a reference to other organizations interested in improving their management. The objective is to recognize, encourage and promote the implementation of good practices in the field of quality and excellence, thus contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the field of management.

The promoters of the 2nd PEUCA emphasize that the “main lesson learned” is that participation, communication and accountability are “three sides of the same prism” and that it has a high possible applicability to other organizations in the same sector. This proposal of good practice shows how the cycle of continuous improvement has supported the different phases of the 2nd Strategic Plan of the University of Cádiz “understanding it as an integrated system in which the questions of form (compliance of phases and schedules) and the substantive issues (achievement and measurement of strategic objectives and checking of goals) have coexisted with extensive processes of participation, communication and accountability to society. “

The Rector’s delegate, Pepa Muñoz Cueto, and the commissioner for the 2nd Strategic Plan of the University of Cádiz, Antonio Javier González, will participate on Thursday March 7 in the Universities Forum of Keys to manage the Strategic Plan in an Excellent University, where they will present the results of these good practices.
