The Faculty of Nursing consults the interest groups in its Master Plan. 7 March 2018
The Faculty of Nursing gave voice and participation to the main interest groups in the elaboration of its Master Plan. On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, meeting were held with these three working groups:
- Focal Group of Employers and Collaborators.
- Focus Group of Students.
- Focal Group of Graduates.
Representatives of companies and institutions, such as the Managing Director of the Campo de Gibraltar Sanitary Management Area, the President of the Cádiz Nursing College, the Health Delegate of the City of Algeciras, the President of the “Friends of Science” Association or the Nursing Director of the “Quirón Salud Campo de Gibraltar” Hospital participated in the focus group of employers and collaborators. Professionals and volunteers of collectives also participated as the Association for Aid to Children with Cancer, ASANSULL, Alzheimer’s Relatives Association of Algeciras, Dialysis Center La Línea/ Algeciras, “Nª Sª Del Rosario” Geriatric Residence and Algeciras Senior Residence.
Focus Group of Students
The focus group of graduates and students were widely represented.
The key information provided by these three focus groups will be transferred to the Master Plan Committee so that they know, first hand, the perception of these groups about the Nursing Faculty located on the Algeciras Campus. The first working session of this Committee will be held on April 5, 2018.
The Master Plan is a process of participation and improvement led by the Dean of the Faculty, Carmen Paublete Herrera, with the collaboration and the advice of the Delegation of the Rector for Strategic Development, within the framework of our II Strategic Plan.
