The new Linguistic Policy Commission of the UCA starts up

On July 2, 2018, the constitution of the new Linguistic Policy Commission was formalized, as a result of the Government Council Agreement on December 1, 2015, which approved the updating of the Linguistic Policy Commission (BOUCA no. 200).

The Commission is chaired by the Vice Rector for Planning, Miguel Ángel Pendón Meléndez, and it has the participation of 31 people who represent, respectively, the Management Team, the Deans and Directors of Centers, the Institute of Applied Linguistics, the Department Directors, the permanent and non-permanent PDI (Teaching & Reserch Staff), the Students, the Administration & Services Staff, the union representatives, the Social Council and the external agents.

This session addressed, among other things, the approval of the Elaboration Scheme for the new Linguistic Policy Document of the University of Cádiz, which will involve in the coming weeks a broad participation process both within and outside the University Community.
