The University of Cádiz holds a Workshop on Rankings with the aim of training its staff 17 September 2018
The University of Cádiz, within the activities of the Training Plan for 2018, held on September 14 a Workshop on Rankings addressed both, the Administration & Services Staff and the Teaching & Research Staff, with managerial responsibilities.
The Workshop, organized by the Delegation of the Rector for Strategic Development, was taught by Professor Francesc Xavier Grau in the Learning Space at the Library of the Faculty of Economic & Business Sciences. In it, participants were introduced to the main rankings and their importance for strategic positioning. In addition, attendees learned, among other things, to read the data and the correlation between the impact of the research activity and the position in the Rankings.
Francesc Xavier Grau has been Rector of the Rovira i Virgili University, vicepresident of the CRUE (Conference of Rectors of the Spanish Universities) and, currently, Secretary of Universities & Research of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
