5.860 members from the six universities SEA-EU respond to international mobility surveys 11 February 2019
In the framework of the “European Universities” initiative of the Erasmus + Program, the Universities of Cádiz, Western Brittany (France), Kiel (Germany), Gdansk (Poland), Split (Croatia) and Malta, made an alliance to present the candidacy of the “European University of the Seas (SEA-EU)”.
As the first common diagnostic measure of the alliance, the Delegation of the Rector for Strategic Development, in collaboration with the Rector’s Delegate for European Universities, has launched four surveys whose results will support the dossier of the candidacy. These surveys have been conducted in the six languages of the consortium and have evaluated the different aspects related to international mobility, its motivations and barriers.
In order to achieve it, between January 21 and February 3, 2019, 3,378 students completed the Bachelor and Master students’s survey; 334 PhD students in the Doctoral Students’s survey; 341 foreign students, the Incoming Bachelor and Master Students’s Survey and, finally, 1,807 people completed the survey for Academic and Non-Academic Staff of the six universities of the alliance.
In the case of the University of Cádiz, the response from the university community has been very important, since 1,301 people have participated in all the surveys.
